About Us
Our mission at Indigo Ridge Farms is to create a lasting connection between the farmer and the community through building relationship with our land, our livestock and our customer. Our goal is to see families thrive, stewardship prioritized and generations entrusted.

"For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations."
— Psalm 100:5

MEET THE FARMERS
Indigo Ridge Farms started as our family chased after a dream to provide clean meat for us and our community in a regenerative approach, for both land and
livestock. Our farm is a seasonal producer of grass-finished beef and lamb, as well as pasture-raised pork and chicken. We aim to connect the consumer to their local farmer and raise awareness about the benefits of natural and holistic farming. Now a family of 6, farming has become a way of life as we continually seek to learn ways to improve the land, our livestock and our health. The farm is nestled in a valley of the southern Appalachian foothills, in the rural community of White Plains, Alabama, near the city of Anniston.
Practices
At Indigo Ridge, we are passionate about the practices and benefits of regenerative agriculture. Our cattle and sheep are allowed to rotationally graze across the pastures. This practice has foundational roots back to early America when large herds of Bison traveled across North America and were found that their migratory patterns actually regenerated the land they left behind. Our beef and lamb are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished without any additional supplementation. Our pigs and chickens spend the majority of their life on grass in the safety of open-air confinement, basking in the sun, seeking rest in a shady oasis and foraging for nature’s goodies. We minimally supplement their natural diet with a fermented feed to boost nutrient availability, similar to the benefits of fermenting our own foods. We do not use herbicide, synthetic fertilizers or pesticides on our pastures. The meat we offer are from animals that have never received antibiotics, hormones or steroids.
